Heart & Soul Music Stroll is Back.

Saturday, June 13, 2026 | 3–8 PM | Sugar House, Salt Lake City | FREE & Open to the Public

For the twelfth year running, Heart & Soul and the neighbors surrounding Imperial Park are throwing open their doors — literally — for one of Utah's most beloved free music festivals. Thousands of people walk and bike from lawn to lawn along Atkin, Filmore, and Glenmare Streets, soaking in live music from every genre imaginable, plus an ocean of food trucks.

Heart & Soul is calling on passionate volunteers to be a part of the 12th Annual Heart & Soul Music Stroll in 2026! This incredible event brings communities together to celebrate the power of live music while enriching the lives of those who are often isolated from society. Since its founding in 1994, Heart & Soul has been dedicated to bringing live music to those who need it most. In 2026, we will produce over 1,300 live shows across 14 Utah counties, working with over 350 performing groups and reaching more than 30,000 audience members. With over 25,000 live performances since our inception, we know the power that music has to uplift and connect people. Why Volunteer? Volunteering for the Heart & Soul Music Stroll is an opportunity to make a real difference in your community. Whether you help with event setup, coordinate performers, assist with logistics, or greet attendees, your support ensures the success of this meaningful event.

Heart & Soul uplifts the human spirit by bringing music and the performing arts to isolated people. We are a local not for profit organization that is dedicated to enriching the lives of those in our community who are unable to share with us the power and healing that the arts provide. We believe music uplifts the spirit, stimulates the mind and heals the body.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 for Heart & Soul to help bring live music and performing arts to neighbors that can't get out to hear a concert on their own.

Neuroscience shows that when we listen to music, our entire brain lights up. But anyone who has experienced a live performance knows music does far more than stimulate the mind—it awakens the body, lifts the spirit, and reconnects us to memories and emotions we may have thought were lost.

Piano Donation

On October 22, one of Heart & Soul’s well-loved performers, Kevin Scott, donated a large beautiful-sounding Yamaha electric piano to Monument Health Millcreek. The residents and staff were very excited to receive this timeless gift that will bring the ability to hear and play quality piano music in their own home, at Monument Health.

Dear Heart &Soul,

My name is Phil Hansen and I work at Pine Creek Nursing and Rehab (formerly Westside). I have been here for 15 years. During many of those years Heart & Soul have come to entertain my residents and staff. I thought I was having them come to help give some entertainment, and a break during the day. I was wrong. They have been very entertaining! They have given a break from the normal day. My residents love listening to the music. BUT that is a very very small piece of what all of the performers have done. Let me explain.
